HoopLaw Sports & ENT., INC. began as a dream, inspired by a lifelong passion for sports. This dream was brought to life by Kenneth Haywood Sr., the CEO and founder. Kenneth has been deeply immersed in the world of sports, playing throughout his life and competing at the collegiate level for Alabama State University.

 

At one point, Kenneth was on the brink of making history as the first 28-year-old NBA rookie to be drafted by the Dallas Mavericks. However, his journey took a heartbreaking turn when he lost his mother to cancer, preventing him from pursuing his NBA career. Despite this loss, his love for sports endured. Over the years, Kenneth has shared his knowledge and passion by coaching grammar school and high school basketball in the City of Chicago.

 

In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Kenneth has earned degrees in criminal law, intellectual property law, entertainment law, behavioral science, and a minor in physical education. His determination and diverse expertise fueled his vision to establish a sports agency that not only guides athletes to success in their sports careers but also helps them build their brands, achieve financial freedom, and maintain mental wellness.
